Cogni Care provides rehabilitation, support and outreach services to people of all ages who have Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI).

Acquired Brain Injuries are defined as an injury to the brain that occurs after birth and is not associated with a degenerative neurological condition.

ABI’s can result from:

  • Physical trauma, such as a car accident or fall;
  • Vascular incident, such as stroke, aneurysm or anoxia;
  • Illness or infection, such as bacterial meningitis or encephalopathy.

We provide Community Rehabilitation Services, Case Management, Vocational Services, as well as Occupational Therapy Services. For older adults experiencing cognitive change, we have a dedicated program of services.
